Meet Branch Construction Group

Branch Construction Group is in the Infrastructure, Operations & Compliance, Facilities Construction, and Design and Engineering business providing for the wide-ranging needs of municipal and industrial customers. Our well experienced teams provide turnkey construction, water and wastewater management services, and operations assistance to keep you running safely, on budget, and in compliance. Our areas of expertise include emergency and planned repairs, regular maintenance, and project management. ​

Our sister company BCG City Services provides full operation capabilities for Water and Wastewater treatment plants, supporting Public Works departments, and maintaining Collection and Distribution systems including aspects of water, sewer, storm, and firewater needs.  A strong collaboration is created between our companies and our customers in producing an effective and cost-efficient operation.

We provide environmentally conscious design, construction, and management services for a variety of projects with several bases of operation. We are there for you.

Meet The Team

Chief of Commercial Operations 

John Ashworth

John has over 40 years of experience in mechanical piping solutions, plant operations, testing, inspection, and certification. A highly accomplished senior executive with domestic and international experience in operations, business development, sales and marketing, acquisition purchase and sales integration, technology development, geographical leveraging, and strategic market planning in developing and emerging geographies.

 

John is a results-oriented, decisive leader with proven success while holding high-level roles with recognized industry leaders in the industrial and TIC space with SGS, Intertek, Furmanite, Team Industrial Services, and T.D. Williamson. John has spent his entire career in the service and product industry providing solutions at often times to difficult problems within piping systems and processes. He understands the importance of the customers problems being our problems at Branch Construction Group and providing high quality and timely solutions. John leads the commercial side of the business. 

Chief of Field Operations 

J.W. Gordin

JW has over 20 years of management experience specific to Underground Utilities and Commercial Construction. He has headed up the installation of numerous multi-million dollar water infrastructure projects for many municipalities including those located in Harris, Brazoria, Fort Bend, Galveston, Chambers, Liberty, and Montgomery counties in Texas.  He has built out and restored water systems in the cities of Bellaire, Channelview, Richwood, Clute, Galveston, Point Comfort, Huntsville, and Bay City, Jamaica Beach, Point Comfort and many others.  

 

He has also managed  the installation of new piping systems for many pirvately held corporations including Petco, Academy, WalMart, CVS, Academy and others  as well as the new construction of several shopping malls, restaurants, and movie theatres. JW is fully OSHA certified and holds an Underground Fire Protection License qualifying Branch Construction Group for fire water line repair and installation. He has significant training in safety for all aspects of our field operations. JW is well recognized within the industry and has a strong network of advocates within the municipalities, engineering,  and new construction arena. JW leads the field operations side of the business. 

Senior Project Manager

Bill Wells

Bill Wells has over 40 years experience in Project Management and Estimations. Bill's extensive knowledge of the underground utilities business, including boring and tunneling. His attention to detail and outstanding reputation serve our clients well. Bill enjoys trying new restaurants and cooking. 

Project Manager

Byron Hughey

Byron has more than 12 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry. He holds certifications in Customer Service Inspections, On-Site Server Facilities, Emergency Preparedness Plans and more. He enjoys being a father, mentoring high school and college athlete’s, and giving back.

Business Development Manager

Mitchell Sutterfield

Mitch has close to 20 years experience within the utilities world with municipalities. He is well trained in undeground utility piping systems, plant operations, and the associated construction, Mitch is knowledgeable in tappng and pipe isolation techniques. Mitch is a veteran who enjoys his time with his family,

Leonardo Ruiz

Leo has over 10 years experience in the utility construction businss. As a rising star his attention to detail in overseeing several crews and projects have earned him a role as an invaluable resource for our clients and us. Leo enjoying spending time with his family which often includes grilling, 

Operations Superintendent

Dan Hudson

Dan is a veteran who has been in the Utility Construction business for over 20 years. He brings a unique perspective to us as he has served on the Municipal side. Dan has tremendous experience in managing field operations whether it be underground or plant. Dan and his wife enjoy being at the beach.  .

Facilities Superintendent

Bryan Dudley

Bryan Dudley has over 20 years’ experience in in Project Management. He has deep experience as an Art Director, Training Coordinator, and Lesson Planner. After hours you can find him on the youth baseball field. Bryan is a veteran of the US Navy serving on a submarine as a diver for 8 years. serv

Maria Plante

Maria is well versed with some 25 years experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, and Business Development. With a broad spectrum of professional experience she is a strong part of our team. She is a mother of 4 and enjoying traveling and being a grandparent.  

Accounting Manager

Christy Priddy

Christy has worked in accounting most of her life. She also has over 10 years’ experience in the medical field. Her caring, nurturing, patient demeanor comes in handy in the fast paced construction world. She enjoys their 4 grandchildren and 3 children and relaxing and camping with her husband and fur babies.

Project Manager

Allison Rodriguez

Allison continues to grow in her role with us now having some 4 years experience in Project Management within the markets we serve. She is always eager to learn and continues to expand her knowing and expereince. Allison enjoys "gushing" over her animals and  she enjoys spending time with her family,
